Biography
Dr. Andrew Somers is a physical therapist, musician, and maker from Lexington, ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½. Prior to beginning his career in full-time academia in 2024, he passionately served ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ns for 9 years in rural and tribal clinics where he mentored over a dozen clinical students from PT and PTA programs across ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½, Texas, and Kansas. He is married to his wonderful wife, Dianaβa fellow musician and makerβwho serves as a district court reporter for ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ County. He now proudly serves the ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ DPT programβs students teaching beginning and advanced orthopaedic physical therapy practice.
