Biography
Dr. Johnston joined Kramer School of Nursing as full-time faculty in January 2018. She is currently the lead faculty for the BSN-DNP family nurse practitioner track. Dr. Johnston has been a registered nurse since 1995 and has practiced as a family nurse practitioner since 2008. While she likes all aspects of family practice, she is especially passionate about working with children and adolescents. Dr. Johnston has always had a strong interest in teaching and, since joining KSN, has completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and become a Certified Nurse Educator. She is also an active member of AONP.
