Biography
Dean Nicholson graduated from Â鶹´«Ã½ State University with his B.S. in Business Management and earned his J.D. from the University of Â鶹´«Ã½. He has served in law school admissions for over a decade, joining Â鶹´«Ã½ Law in April 2023. He is also a licensed attorney in the state of Kansas. When he’s not recruiting future law school students, you can find him traveling, working out, playing pub trivia, or appearing on his favorite game show (five, so far). He also volunteers with time with International Academic Competitions, the JROTC National Academic Championships, and runs a successful trivia-themed TikTok account.
Advice
Before taking the leap to law school, prepare yourself by taking challenging courses in undergrad, strengthen your writing, communication, and reading comprehension skills, and assess what you want out of your future career. Law school opens many doors, so don’t be afraid to explore it as an option post-Bachelor’s, Master’s or doctoral degree!
