Biography
Sally Roark received her Masters of Health Science degree in 2002 as a graduate of the University of Â鶹´«Ã½ Health Sciences Center Physician Assistant Program. She also received a Bachelors in Science in Biology from Southwestern Â鶹´«Ã½ State University in 2000.
She has been a practicing physician assistant since 2003 in the areas of internal medicine/gastroenterology for 8 years, family medicine for 2 ½ years, and orthopedic surgery for 4 ½ years. She is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She has been a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Â鶹´«Ã½ Association of Physician Assistants, the Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery organization, and now the Physician Assistant Educator Association.
Sally lives in Â鶹´«Ã½ City with her husband and children: a son, daughter, and their boxer dog brother. She enjoys traveling, hiking, snow skiing, gardening, and attending her children’s various sporting and music events. She comes from a family of many educators and is excited to contribute her years of experience in medicine to the education and training of a new generation of physician assistants here at Â鶹´«Ã½ City University.
