Two of Â鶹´«Ã½ Athletics’ banner events are the Sports Spectacular and Abe Lemons Golf Classic.
The Sports Spectacular—with its silent and live auctions—serves as the largest fundraising event for Â鶹´«Ã½ Athletics. The Abe Lemons/Paul Hansen Award for Athletic Excellence is presented at Sports Spectacular and honors individuals who have significantly contributed to the growth of sports in Â鶹´«Ã½.
The Abe Lemons Golf Classic is a major fundraiser for Â鶹´«Ã½ Athletics and an essential budget-enhancing event for all 22 varsity sports. Through its history, the tournament has provided six-figure funding to Athletics and has had a major impact on Â鶹´«Ã½ teams winning at least one national title in each of those years.
