Transfer Academic Scholarships
Based on cumulative college GPA, renewable for a maximum of seven consecutive semesters. Full-time enrollment of 12 or more hours per semester is required for scholarship. RN-BSN students are not eligible for academic scholarships.

Transfer Departmental Scholarships

These scholarships are for students with majors within Kramer School of Nursing (excluding RN-BSN students), Meinders School of Business, and Petree College of Arts & Sciences. Game Design & Animation Scholarship
Students majoring in Game Design & Animation with at least a 2.75 minimum GPA will automatically be awarded the Game Design & Animation Scholarship. This award is $6,000 per academic year ($3,000 each fall and spring semester for a maximum of 6 semesters for transfer students). The Game Design & Animation Scholarship is stackable with other university scholarships, but the sum of all university scholarships may not exceed the block tuition rate. This award is renewed each year for students continuing to major in Game Design & Animation who maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Esports Management Scholarship
Students majoring in Esports Management with at least a 2.75 minimum will automatically be awarded the Esports Management Scholarship. This award is $5,000 per academic year ($2,500 each fall and spring semester for a maximum of 6 semesters for transfer students). The Esports Management Scholarship is stackable with other university scholarships, but the sum of all university scholarships may not exceed the block tuition rate. This award is renewed each year for students continuing to major in Esports Management who maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Film Scholarships:
- You may submit a short sample of digital film work for Talent Scholarship consideration. The reel should be no longer than five minutes and can include one short film or samples from a variety of projects. Art Scholarships:
- You may submit a portfolio of your work to the Studio Art and Design department chair for Talent scholarship consideration. A portfolio of original artwork with 8-15 images of your work. The Distinguished National Scholarships and Internship Office
The Distinguished National Scholarships and Internship Office at ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ can provide information about national scholarships and internships as well as ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ scholarship opportunities. Dr. Karen Youmans, the coordinator, offers advice to students on scholarship and intern preparation and assists students throughout the application process.
Kramer Transfer Scholarship
The Kramer Transfer Scholarship is a scholarship award for students transferring from ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ City Community College to ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ City Universityβs Kramer School of Nursing. To be considered for the award an applicant must be transferring with at least a 3.0 cumulative college GPA. This scholarship is awarded on a sliding scale. Please see the dollar increments based on the transfer GPA below. The scholarship is renewable for up to four consecutive semesters (a maximum of two years) by maintaining a minimum 3.0 GPA and is stackable with other university scholarships up to full tuition. There is no interview or scholarship application to complete for consideration. This is an automatic award given to the first 10 students who qualify and are admitted into Kramer School of Nursing from ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ City Community College.

The Kramer Way Scholarship
The Kramer Way Scholarship is generously provided through an anonymous donor. This competitive-based $15,000 scholarship is awarded to up to 13 pre-licensure junior students entering the program in Spring 2024 and Spring 2025.
Application deadline: 12 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2
Kramer Way Scholarship recipients will be notified through ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ email by Friday, Dec. 13. Notification of acceptance must be received by 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18. After Dec. 18, alternates will be contacted and offered the scholarship.

The Saints & Stars Program
The Saints & Stars Program is a five-year agreement between SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital and ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ City Universityβs Kramer School of Nursing. The partnership allows ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ students to work part-time with SSM Health while they complete their nursing degree, while also receiving a $3,500 annual scholarship from SSM Health and a $5,000 annual discount from ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½. Twenty pre-licensure junior students will be selected to participate in the program each year through the 2025-26 academic year.
In addition to employment and financial benefits, the partnership will allow ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ nursing students the opportunity to take part in clinical rotations at SSM Health; to engage in paid leadership clinical hours; to participate in a summer nurse extern program; to complete service learning hours at SSM; and to be assigned a nurse mentor.

Bama Companies Scholarship
Through the generous donation of Bama Companies, along with their CEO and ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ alumna Paula Marshall, this scholarship will provide new transfer students the opportunity to receive $10,000 per year ($5,000 per semester), with a limited number of scholarships each Spring semester. This scholarship is stackable with ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ University and Departmental Scholarships up to block tuition. Candidates must be a direct transfer with at least 30 hours from an ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ community college with preference given to Tulsa Community College students. Candidates must also have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (2.5 ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ GPA is required to maintain the award) and demonstrated leadership capacity.

Scholarship amounts vary and are stackable with other university merit scholarships but may not exceed the full-block tuition rate. Information on tryout dates will be shared with all interested students by the Esports Director in the spring of each academic year. This award may be renewed each year by the Esports Director based on student performance and team participation, as well as good academic standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Meinders Business Transfer Scholarship
The Meinders Business Transfer Scholarship is a scholarship award for students transferring from community colleges to ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ City Universityβs Meinders School of Business. To be considered for the award an applicant must be transferring with at least a 2.5 cumulative college GPA. This scholarship is awarded on a sliding scale. The ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ Business Transfer Scholarship is a $5,000 per academic year ($2,500 each fall and spring semester) award for students transferring from an ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ two-year community college into ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ City Universityβs Meinders School of Business. To be considered for the award an applicant must be transferring with at least 24 credit hours and a 3.0 cumulative college GPA. The scholarship is renewable for up to four consecutive semesters (a maximum of two years) by maintaining a minimum 2.5 GPA and is stackable with other university scholarships up to full tuition. There is no interview or scholarship application to complete for consideration. This is an automatic award given to the first 25 students who qualify and are admitted into the Meinders School of Business.

World House Scholars
All World House Scholars will participate in service learning projects each year, complete courses addressing issues of peace, justice, and ecological sustainability and are required to complete at least one approved international education experience while at ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ City University.

ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ Transfer Award
Transfer students coming directly from an ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ higher education institution with a minimum 3.0 cumulative college GPA and enrolling in the Petree College of Arts and Sciences will automatically be awarded the ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ Transfer Award. This award is $5,000 per academic year ($2,500 each fall and spring semester for a maximum of six semesters). Eligible students must be a direct transfer from an ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ higher education institution (attending there the semester prior to ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ enrollment, excluding summer semesters) and have completed at least 30 credit hours post-high school graduation at that particular ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ direct-transfer institution. This award is only available to students who enroll in the Petree College of Arts and Sciences (excluding the Adult Degree Completion Programs "ADCP"). The ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ Transfer Award is not stackable with the Education Scholarsβ Program awards, Employee Remission, Ministerβs Remission or Tuition Exchange. This award is only available to students who enroll and continue their enrollment in the Petree College of Arts & Sciences.

U.S. Schaul Endowed Philosophy Scholarship
Note: This scholarship opportunity is unavailable at this time.
U.S. Schaul (Jan. 10, 1867- Jan. 6, 1951) was named after the eighteenth president. He was orphaned at the age of six, when his father died from the lingering effects of a Civil War wound. U.S. Schaul graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, where he won prizes for debate in Philosophy, English Literature, and Greek Prose Composition. He was a Phi Beta Kappa who also participated in varsity rowing and football.
The U.S. Schaul Endowed Philosophy Scholarship is for students pursuing a B.S. in Philosophy. Students must have a 3.5 GPA, and will be required to maintain a 3.5 GPA each semester to renew the scholarship. The donor requires the student to be a U.S. Citizen, and preference will be given to students who graduated from an ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ City Metro area public or private high school or junior college. The $2,500/year scholarship is renewable for three semesters, provided the student maintains eligibility.
Rose State College: Exercise & Sport Science Scholarship
Any student directly transferring from Rose State College into ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½'s exercise & sport science program with at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA may be eligible to receive a $2,500 (per year) Exercise & Sport Science Scholarship, stackable with academic and departmental grid scholarships. Weightlifting/Barbell Club Scholarship
Petree College of Arts & Sciences Department of Exercise and Sport Science annually offers one $12,000/year scholarship for an incoming fall freshmen and transfer student. Experience in Olympic-style weightlifting or powerlifting is required, competition history is preferred. The recipient will be required to participate in three to four days of training per week and compete in two meets (including national level) per year with the Weightlifting/Barbell Club. Brooke Haley Memorial Scholarship
This endowed scholarship fund was created in 2005 to honor Brooke Haley, a mass communications (broadcasting) student. The scholarship is intended for students who demonstrate a commitment to the field of mass communications as well as professionals. Funds are applied to tuition expenses Students must have 3.25 GPA. Current students, transfers, and high school seniors may apply.

Dean's Scholarship
The Dean's Scholarship award is for 80% tuition.
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA.
- Commit to a full-time vocation in the United Methodist Church.
- Pursue a course of study in the Wimberly School of Religion.
- Be active and provide leadership for the campus Religious Life programs.
Religion Departmental Scholarship
This award, which provides up to 70% of tuition, provides financial support to students with a strong commitment to the study of religion in preparation for a career in ministry. To be eligible, students must:
- Be enrolled in a degree track in the Wimberly School of Religion.
- Maintain a 2.5 β 3.0 GPA (depending on award).
- Be active and provide leadership for the campus Religious Life programs.
Students recommended for the Bishop Scholar Award will automatically be considered for the Dean's and Religion Departmental Scholarships. Students who are planning to study in the Wimberly School of Religion and are not United Methodist may be recommended for the Dean's and Religion Departmental Scholarships.
*PLEASE NOTE β Religion scholarships are designed to cover up to the tuition percentage awarded once all other scholarships and grants have been applied. They are not stackable with other university scholarships unless specifically noted.

Speech and Debate
We have a rich history of helping students achieve their dreams of pursuing an education at ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½. We offer generous scholarship support for team members, whether they participate in debate, competitive speech, performance, or a combination of events. Scholarship renewal requires a 3.0 GPA.
World House Scholars
All World House Scholars will participate in service learning projects each year, complete courses addressing issues of peace, justice, and ecological sustainability and are required to complete at least one approved international education experience while at ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ City University.
Esports Scholarship
Students wishing to compete on our varsity-level Esports team are eligible to try out for talent-based scholarship awards. Scholarship amounts vary and are stackable with other university merit scholarships but may not exceed the full-block tuition rate. Information on tryout dates will be shared with all interested students by the Esports Director in the spring of each academic year. This award may be renewed each year by the Esports Director based on student performance and team participation, as well as good academic standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
United Methodist Higher Education Foundation Scholarship Opportunities
Scholarship Programs β All awards are made for the fall term each year. Renewal of awards is not automatic. Applications must be submitted each year. General Named Endowed Scholarship Funds
UMHEF has several named endowed scholarship funds that have been established by private donors. Some of these funds stipulate that the applicant must meet specific criteria. Applicants to the General Named Endowed Funds program will be considered for all scholarships for which they are qualified. The minimum award is $1,000. Apply online at . Global Board of Higher Education & Ministry Scholarships and Loans
GBHEM offers many scholarships for both undergraduate and graduate study, including general scholarships, racial and ethnic scholarships, and degree-specific scholarships. GBHEM also offers student loan options. More information and application materials can be found online at .
Scholarship applications are accepted annually between Dec. 15 and March 13; loan deadlines vary.
Methodist Leadership Scholarship (MLS)
Strong preference is given to Methodist students who exhibit excellent leadership qualities, involvement within their local congregation and community, or attended LEAD Camp (formerly CYME). Examples also include but are not limited to: providing leadership within worship services, mission trips, youth groups, childrenβs ministry, camping ministry, VBS, CCYM, etc. Leadership in school, community, and work experience will also be considered. Applicants must be able to understand the meaning of servant leadership and be able to articulate their faith (applicants may be asked to submit short answers to the question for the scholarship committee to fulfill this requirement).
To renew the scholarship students must maintain a 3.0 GPA.

Some recipients of this scholarship will be admitted into the Presidentβs Leadership Class (ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ Leads). Recipients will be required to participate in faith-based leadership activities on campus as a requirement of the scholarship. A visit to the recipient's home congregation to give an ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ presentation once a year will be required.
Minister Remission for Methodist Clergy and their Dependents
Undergraduate and graduate students entering in a fall semester who are dependent on an ordained, United Methodist Minister who actively serves the United Methodist Church within the ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ Conference or the ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ Indian Missionary Conference may be eligible for Minister's Dependent Remission. Clergy spouses are also eligible for this award in the fall semester only.
Ministerβs Remission is not always guaranteed and applicants are encouraged to apply for other ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ Scholarships. Remission is not stackable with other awards and is only applied after all federal and state grants have been applied. It covers 80%-100% of the remaining annual block tuition of 12-16 credit hours (room and board, fees, and books are not included).
If awarded, students are eligible for renewal for up to eight semesters. Hours exceeding the block tuition structure will be the responsibility of the student and cannot be covered by Minister Remission benefits, university gifts, or endowments.

Air Force ROTC
ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ City University students now have a unique opportunity to join Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) while attending ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ by a cooperative agreement between ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ City University and the University of ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½.
Army ROTC
Army ROTC students may compete for two-, three, and four-year scholarships. Army ROTC also has a scholarship program for nursing students. After you complete your degree and the Army ROTC program, you will receive a commission as an officer in the United States Army.

ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ City University Scholarships
- If a student receives a substantial university scholarship that exceeds their academic and departmental scholarships, the special scholarship will replace all other scholarships (this includes talent, and/or athletic tuition scholarships).
- Scholarships do not automatically stack. Pageant Scholarships (Miss ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½, Miss ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ and Miss Black ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½) stand alone for the semesters they are awarded and cannot be stacked with other university tuition scholarships.
